While many refer him as Festival, however, his real names are Thabo Matlaba. He is currently under the books of the KwaZulu-Natal based side, Royal AM Football Club.
Thabo Matlaba is a South African professional football player who has previously represented clubs in the Premier Soccer League like Orlando Pirates, Free State Stars, Swallows Football Club and also Black Leopards.
Some label him as the best left-back to ever play in the DStv Premiership. Well, he is not only a left-back, but can also play as a right-back, Centre-back, left-winger and also as a defensive midfielder.
Thabo Matlaba will celebrate his 36th birthday later this year, however, he is yet to hang his boots. He is also a regular starter at the Thwihli Thwahla side. That shows how committed he is to his job.
He has made 14 appearances in the Dstv Premiership so far this season.
