A pedestrian sadly passed away in a horrific crash in Lentegeur, Mitchells Plain, on Wednesday afternoon, 19 November.
This happened after a BMW driver allegedly sped down the wrong side of the road.

The crash happened at about 4pm on Eisleben Road and left four other vehicles badly damaged.
Witnesses said the impact was so severe that the scene was so horrific.
A resident described the scene as traumatic and unlike anything they’d ever seen.
Another resident said they hoped the victim’s family would find strength in the face of such a devastating loss.
People from the area rushed to the scene to help. They pulled out the injured passengers from damaged vehicles and tried to comfort those in shock.
Videos and photos of the scene quickly spread on social media, showing the scale of the destruction.
Cops confirmed that they’re investigating the crash.
Police spokesman Wesley Twigg said the Lentegeur cops registered culpable homicide and reckless and negligent driving cases for investigation.
Twigg said: “According to reports the driver of a BMW drove on the wrong side of the road and collided with the pedestrian. The pedestrian was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel.”
Twigg added that the BMW then slammed into four other vehicles. Drivers, passengers and children were hurt.
“The injured victims, including the driver of the BMW, were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.”
“The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation, and an arrest is yet to be made,” he said.
