Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahli Saudi have returned to winning ways after beating Al Kholood to climb up the log on Tuesday.
Al Ahli suffered their first defeat under Mosimane against Al Hazem last week.

However, on Tuesday they returned to winning ways thanks to goals by Hassan Al Ali before half-time and new signing Modou Barrow in the second stanza.
Al Kholood did score the equaliser just after half-time via an own goal by Al Ahli’s Bastos but Mosimane’s side pounced back in the 73rd minute and didn’t let go of the three points again.
The victory saw them climb into second place with 40 points, level with leaders Hazem and with a five point buffer to the non-promotion places.

Overall, Al Ahli have now won eight matches under Mosimane, drawn six and lost just one as they continue their promotion push.
Al Ahli return to action next week Monday when they will face Al Orobah, who sit in 12th place.
