Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahli Saudi finished the year 2022 with a 2-2 draw with Al Sahel on Saturday to finish the year in sixth place.

Al Ahli picked their fourth draw under Mosimane and stayed in sixth place on the log after failing to beat 15th-placed Al Sahel.

Mosimane’s side went behind after 61 minutes but thought they had turned the game around after goals in the 68th and 83rd minute but conceded a late equaliser in the 92nd minute.

They now have 21 points from 12 games, and are four behind the promotion places, while having two games in hand.

Al Ahli have remained unbeaten under Mosimane, picking up three wins and four draws since the South African tactician took over.

Al Ahli will again be in action on Wednesday when they take on 17th placed Al Shoalah.
