Royal AM are the last team that Orlando Pirates legend Happy Jele will turn out for but whether it is this season or next will depend on Shauwn Mkhize‘s club.
According to Jazzman Mahlakgane, Happy Jele will not play for any other team after Royal AM, and that’s the decision he has made.

Jele, 36, joined Royal AM on a free transfer at the start of February after being offered a short-term deal until the end of the current season.
However, Royal AM have an option to renew it for a further 12 months, but that, of course, will depend on whether or not he contributed enough.
“That will depend on a number of things. If Royal AM decide against renewing his contract then the 2022-23 season will be Happy’s last as a footballer,” Mahlakgane told Isolezwe.

“What we are sure of is that Royal AM is the last team that Happy will play for. We don’t want him to play longer than he’s supposed to and ended up being forced to retire by his fans. It’s always good to retire while you’re still loved,” he added.
Mahlakgane’s pronouncements on Jele’s retirement stems from his discussion with the lanky defender whom he said shouldn’t play until he’s forced to retire by his fans.
