Orlando Pirates and Maritzburg united coach Fadlu Davids has been strongly linked with a move to Amazulu Football Club.
Barring the 2-1 MTN8 win over Cape Town City, AmaZulu have blown hot and cold, and have not won a league match in their last four outings, losing three and drawing one, which has placed increased pressure on coach Brandon Truter, and Fadlu Davids is linked with Amazulu.
Usuthu have made their aspirations clear in the current season, with the recent signings, indicating a signal of intent from ambitious club boss Sandile Zungu, who has outlined the aim to compete for top honors.
The Siya crew has since reliably been informed that Fadlu Davids name has been mentioned as a strong candidate to join the coaching staff, should unsatisfactory results continue.
Davids has established himself as one of the best young coaches in the country in his maiden job at Maritzburg United, which saw him being snapped up by Orlando Pirates in 2019 where he initially served as an assistant coach, before taking up the reigns as a first team coach alongside Mandla Ncikazi.
The 41-year-old coach has been without a job since the expiry of his contract with the Buccaneers in June last year, and was previously linked with the SuperSport United role, although he narrowly lost out to Gavin Hunt who sealed a return to the club.
