Latest reports have revealed that arrival of coach Nasreddine Nabi at Kaizer Chiefs has brought mixed emotions for certain players, with some welcoming the change and others facing uncertainty regarding their respective futures.
According to Soccer Laduma, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo is one of the players supposedly most affected by the new coaching regime.
An insider privy to information added that coach Nabi is believed to be intending to loan out Ngcobo as soon as possible, probably during the January transfer window.
“It’s tough for Mshini with coach Nabi in charge. He won’t play that much or not even play at all. The problem is his style of play. He is very slow and likes passing backwards and the coach wants fast straight forward players in the midfield.”
“That’s what gives Mfundo (Vilakazi) and Mdu (Mduduzi Shabalala) the chance to play regularly. So, Mshini faces a bleak future at the club as things stand right now,” the Siya source stated.
A second source stated how the Amakhosi technical team is likely to find a solution to the situation in the near future.
“Since he still has two years remaining on his contract the best the club can do at the moment is to loan him out.”
“So they will be working at loaning him out either in January or at the end of the season. But for playing at Chiefs, it will be very difficult as he is not in the coach’s plans,” the second source stated.
