Former Botswana and USM Alger coach Adel Amrouche has been linked with a move to the Soweto giants as they are currently searching for a highly-rated coach.

According to The Citizens, Adel Amrouche has been tipped to replace the former Kaizer Chiefs head coach Stuart Baxter.

It is believed that the Algerian born coach have shown the interest in taking over at the club. He was one of the candidates at the club before they appointed Gavin Hunt.

A source revealed that the coach was a candidate, however, he was disqualified by Amakhosi because he told the media that he had a chat with the Kaizer Chiefs management about the job.

The Algerian coach is currently staying in Dubai, however, he will be arriving in the country in the upcoming days in order to hold talks with one of the clubs in the Premier Soccer League.

The coach did tell the source that he is open to joining Kaizer Chiefs or Orlando Pirates.

Adel Amrouche has managed many clubs and national teams in Africa, including Burundi, Equatorial Guinea, Kenya, Libya and also Botswana.
