The Kaizer Chiefs Football Club management might be looking to invest in the youngsters ahead of the next season after showing interest in Cape town spurs duo.

iDiski times has reported that Amakhosi have been scouting Chumani Butsaka and Rushwin Dortley, who are both playing in the Glad Africa Championship.

Chumani Butsaka is a 20-year old right-winger who has now spent three season with the Cape town spurs senior team.

The speedy midfielder has already made 22 appearances for the Glad Africa Championship side. He has managed to impress the Kaizer Chiefs scout and could be one of the players that could be announced by the club in the January transfer window.

Another player that Kaizer Chiefs are interested in is Rushwin Dortley, a Cape town spurs defender.

There are chances that the Cape town based side might be relegated this season from the Glad Africa Championship to ABC Motsepe League.

Should the club end up being relegated, Amakhosi would purchase the duo with a cheap price. In their remaining two matches, Cape town spurs have to at least win one game and draw another match in order to cement their place in the 2nd tier.

Things will be tough for the club as they will face Richards Bay Football Club and University of Pretoria, who are both looking to win the competition and gain an automatic promotion to the Dstv Premiership.
