A member of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) was on patrol this afternoon (Tuesday) when he was alerted to a pedestrian vehicle accident on Old Inanda Road near Trenance Park – KZN.

The Reaction Officer responded to the location and discovered a 30-year-old female lying on the side of the roadway.
According to her husband, the couple had been walking together while pushing their three-year-old child in a stroller when a black VW Polo Vivo (registration unknown) struck his wife and fled in the direction of Trenance Park – KZN.

The female sustained head and leg injuries and was transported privately to hospital for medical treatment.
