Mmusi said an investigation into the cause of the crash is currently underway.
Meanwhile, MEC Jackie Macie has called on motorists to exercise extreme caution on the roads to prevent fatal crashes, especially during rainy weather conditions that negatively affect visibility and road surface grip.
He emphasised that with heightened vigilance and adherence to the rules of the road, many devastating crashes can be prevented.
“Let us respect the rules and drive with the utmost caution in wet weather conditions.”
