Those goals have come in only 140 minutes of game-time, giving him a super return of a goal every 35 minutes.
Guinea-Bissau coach Emiliano Te has taken notice and included the 29-year-old in his squad for the friendly match against Angola.
In the national team, Silva will link up with Burá Nogueira, the regular defensive midfielder who has also captained the national team.
“I have trained with him during my vacation in Portugal and so I know,” Burá Nogueira tells KickOff.com from Maputo, where he is currently playing for CD Costa do Sol.
“His character aligns with his abilities as a footballer; he is a good person and a good player.
“We were together in Portugal during off-season in 2023.
“I know that he is playing for a good team.
“He is going to be with us for the friendly match against Angola, so we will be together in the national team for the first time.
“Flavio is going to be welcome in the national team.
“For me, Flavio is like Victor Osimhen in the way he plays because I have seen both of them playing.
“I’m sure you know Osimhen,” says Burá Nogueira.

The hopes are now on Silva becoming the first player to get into double figures in the league since Samir Nurkovic smashed 13 through the 2019/20 season.
He was most recently playing in Indonesia.
