Kaizer Chiefs moved up to second on the Betway Premiership standings with a 4-1 win against Orbit College, while new Chippa coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi picked up a point from his second game in charge.

Polokwane City moved up to fifth place on the Betway Premiership with a hard-fought 1-0 win over AmaZulu on Tuesday evening.

Bulelani Nikani scored the only goal at the Princess Magogo Stadium after 15 minutes.

The result saw Rise and Shine move onto 19 points in fifth place from 12 games and left Usuthu in sixth place with 18 points, from 11 games.

New Chippa United coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi picked up a point from his second game in charge of the side, since his return as a replacement for Luc Eymael, with a goalless draw with John Maduka’s Magesi.

It was a far better showing than the 3-0 defeat to AmaZulu last time out, but the Chilli Boys remain rooted to the foot of the table with just seven points from 12 games – three adrift of Magesi in 14th place.

Kaizer Chiefs, meanwhile, moved up to second on the Betway Premiership standings with their comprehensive 4-1 win over newly-promoted Orbit College.

Mduduzi Shabalala (4′, 61′) netted a brace before Ayanda Lukhele briefly got his side back into the game on the 70-minute mark, only for Mfundo Vilakazi (73′) to seal the win with his goal.
