On Sunday evening on the R33 Kambula Road, a devastating head on collision occurred.
KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the scene and found an emotional and chaotic scene.
Assessing the scene paramedics found 4 occupants that had sustained fatal injuries, and had sadly succumbed to their injuries before emergency services could arrive.
In the wreckage, paramedics found a critically injured child.
Working together with Fire and Rescue services, the child was stabilized and extricated from the wreckage, after which the patient was transported to a nearby hospital for further care and stabilization.
