Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has confirmed that Reeve Frosler is still sidelined and other “key players” are also sidelined.

Amakhosi take on bottom-placed Marumo Gallants as pressure mounts on the Zwane after Chiefs dropped to 14th on the log.

A win would see them rise up the log, with Zwane himself admitting they are behind their set targets for the first 10 games of the season.

On Sunday, they take on a Gallants side who are without their head coach Romain Folz, but Zwane admitted the Amokhosi will some of their key players.

“We are missing Reeve Frosler, who is still recovering from injury, and a number of other key players out for a variety of reasons for this match,” he told the club’s media team.

Zwane also addressed the readiness of new signings Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana and Edmilson Dove, who recently got their work permits.

“Dove and Caleb are coming on well,” he added.

“We don’t want to put them under pressure, we want them to settle in well with the hope that when they come in they add value.

“We have no doubt they’ve got good quality, we need to bring everyone on board in terms of understanding the way we want to play and then try and incorporate everyone who is new in the setup.

“When the time comes, they should be ready to play.”

Chiefs will take on Gallants at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Sunday afternoon at 15:00.
