Zodwa Wabantu’s son announced on social media that her only son passed matric as he was part of the matric 2025.
Vuyo Libram (20) passed his matric with diploma admission at Noordgesig Secondary School near Orlando East in Soweto.

His mum said she doesn’t want him to be in the entertainment space because she feels it’s not good for him.
Zodwa Wabantu, whose real name is Zodwa Libram from Soweto, said her son proved wrong all those who undermine her, thinking that because she normally dances naked, she also dances naked at home and drinks with everyone as well.
The proud 40-year-old mum told Daily Sun that people can undermine her when she dances naked, but at her home, she’s the opposite person.
“I’m proud of my son for making me a happy mother. This is the only child I have in my life.”
“Many people used to undermine me because they saw me dancing naked when I’m booked at events, thinking even in my house I would dance naked and also drink with everyone in my home.
“When I’m at home I’m a strict mother and raise my child strictly like all mothers.”
“My son just shows the reflection of our home, and my son just proved haters wrong that I can have a son who has passed matric,” she said.
Zodwa Wabantu, who normally dances naked or half naked at different entertainment places, said she didn’t finish her matric because of various reasons, but she’s happy that her son has finished grade 12.
“At the moment he’s still to decide what he will study at university, but he normally tells me that he wants to be in the entertainment space, and I don’t like that because the entertainment is not good for him and girls will interrupt him.

“We are going to help him to decide wisely about what is suitable for him.”
“His family from his father’s side are educated and they will also help him to choose wisely,” she added.
