Warren Masemola was born on May 18, 1983, in Garankuwa, Gauteng. He grew up in Soshanguve, where he attended Tshwane Christian School and matriculated in 2000.
He then moved to Newton, Johannesburg, to pursue his passion for dancing.
Warren enrolled at Moving into Dance, an art school, where he studied for a year before switching to drama.
He graduated from the Market Theatre Laboratory in 2004 after two years of study.

Warren Masemola joined the e.tv soap opera Scandal! as Lentswe Mokethi, an art director, in 2008.
He gained popularity and recognition for his performance, which earned him a nomination for the Golden Horn Award for Best Supporting Actor in a TV Soap in 2017.
He then appeared in several other TV shows, such as Intersexions, 90 Plein Street, The Republic and Ses’Top La.
In 2022, he starred as Alex Khadzi on House of Zwide, a fashion e.tv soap.
Masemola has also ventured into film and theatre. He has acted in movies such as Machine Gun Preacher (2011), Nothing for Mahala (2013), Hear Me Move (2015), Happiness Is a Four-Letter Word (2016), Five Fingers for Marseilles (2017), Sew the Winter to My Skin (2018), and Knuckle City (2019).
He has also performed in musicals and operas directed by Fiona Ramsay and Robyn Orlin.
Masemola is not only an actor but also a voice artist. He has lent his voice to radio dramas such as Chase and Frank for Frank Talk.

Masemola has won several awards and accolades for his work. He has won three Golden Horn Awards for Best Supporting Actor in a TV Comedy (2015 and 2019) and Best Actor in a TV Drama (2018).

Personal Life
Masemola is married to Kgaugelo Masemola since 2017. They welcomed their first child in May 2020. Masemola is very private about his personal life and family.
He rarely shares details or photos of his wife and child on social media.
Masemola has also faced some health challenges in his life.
He was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2006 and underwent surgery to remove one of his testicles.
He has also suffered from Bell’s palsy, a condition that causes temporary paralysis of one side of the face. He has overcome these difficulties with courage and optimism.
