He gained popularity and recognition for his performance, which earned him a nomination for the Golden Horn Award for Best Supporting Actor in a TV Soap in 2017.

He then appeared in several other TV shows, such as Intersexions, 90 Plein Street, The Republic and Ses’Top La.

In 2022, he starred as Alex Khadzi on House of Zwide, a fashion e.tv soap.

Masemola has also ventured into film and theatre. He has acted in movies such as Machine Gun Preacher (2011), Nothing for Mahala (2013), Hear Me Move (2015), Happiness Is a Four-Letter Word (2016), Five Fingers for Marseilles (2017), Sew the Winter to My Skin (2018), and Knuckle City (2019).

Personal Life

Masemola is married to Kgaugelo Masemola since 2017. They welcomed their first child in May 2020. Masemola is very private about his personal life and family.

Masemola has also faced some health challenges in his life.

He was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2006 and underwent surgery to remove one of his testicles.

He has also suffered from Bell’s palsy, a condition that causes temporary paralysis of one side of the face. He has overcome these difficulties with courage and optimism.
