Ukhozi FM contributor Zamaweza “Zuluglamour” Mthalane has passed away.
The 35-year-old host died at Dr Pixley KaSeme Memorial Hospital on Sunday, 9 March, in Durban after a brief battle with meningitis.
Zuluglamour was a contributor on the maskandi show, Sigiya Ngengoma where she shared the latest maskandi updates called Ezisegudwini every Saturday.

She was also popular as an MC at top maskandi festivals and was the presenter of the Umbuso Wamaciko podcast.
Her brother, Sphiwe Mthalane, confirmed her passing to Daily Sun.
He said his sister suffered from a headache for about two weeks before her passing.
“She called me, saying she’d been suffering from a headache for a week, and I advised her to get medical attention, which she did.
“She went to the clinic and was transferred to Dr Pixley KaSeme Memorial Hospital, where she was diagnosed with meningitis. Things got worse, and unfortunately, she passed away at the hospital on Sunday around 12pm,” he said.
Sphiwe said the family is heartbroken as they were expecting more from her entertainment career. He said the family would meet on Monday, 10 March, to finalise her funeral arrangements.
Zuluglamour shot to fame when she presented the dramatic Umbuso Wamaciko podcast in 2022, inviting top maskandi artists who often argued physically and verbally during the show.
One memorable incident in 2022 involved maskandi stars Njoko and Mdumazi physically attacking each other during a live show she was presenting.
In 2024, she joined the station as a contributor for a maskandi show, providing the latest maskandi music updates after Ukhozi fired King Zoso, the initial contributor of the show, in April 2024.
