Dumisane Ndlovu was knocked down by a minibus taxi on the N2 road in Mkhondo on Thursday afternoon, 5 February.
He died after he was knocked down by a minibus taxi on the N2 road outside Mkhondo towards Pongola in Mpumalanga.

The officer, Dumisane Ndlovu, was a provincial traffic inspector attached to the Piet Retief cost centre.
He was declared dead at the scene.
Ndlovu is the fourth law enforcement officer to lose his life on the same stretch of road under similar circumstances.
A case of culpable homicide is being investigated.
