Former Muvhango actress and podcaster, Tebogo Thobejane is on a rampage.

The 40-year-old released a statement on Tuesday, 1 October expressing her disappointment at podcaster, MacG after he recently mocked her on his podcast.

MacG, whose real name is Macgyver Mukwevho, shared with his team that after Tebogo left their channel, where she hosted her podcast, City Girls, she started a YouTube channel that didn’t do well.

“She asked me to tell her followers, who were watching her podcast on our channel, to watch her new one,” he said.

MacG and his team laughed for minutes, saying Tebogo is funny.

The socialite, who has now moved to Dubai, said what MacG did was shameful.

Tebogo said:

“It’s incredibly disappointing to see MacG use his platform to mock and disrespect me all while trying to make business deals through his podcast.”

” Despite the views and success of his platform, it’s disheartening that he took advantage of a situation where I put everything on the line. Let it be known – I’m not chasing fame.”

She said she has never been one to settle for mediocrity or low engagement in anything she does.

“I refuse to be demeaned. MacG, don’t even try me because I’m a peaceful person, but I won’t tolerate being disrespected.”

“I was picked on, went through court battles and had no assistance from you or your team during those trying times,” she wrote on social media.

She said MacG must really be running out of topics.

“Do you even think before you speak? I’ve never had just five views in my life. I’ve done numerous episodes and garnered significant attention while you went out of your way to make me look bad.

“You cancelled my show because I requested a budget and you decided you couldn’t even cover hair and make-up,” she said.

Tebogo said when she was trying to start her own podcast, she asked a colleague for help to promote it, but he ignored her.

“You’re still keeping the podcast as it continues to get lots of views, while I gained nothing from doing your show except stress. Now, you and your co-host, including Ghost Lady, want to talk nonsense as if I was desperate for your attention.”

Tebogo said MacG enjoys life while mocking other people.

“Your life remains private. Also, when newspapers asked me, I didn’t say anything about you – that’s what makes this so disappointing.”

“I stood by you, also getting you the interview with Phat Joe, which made you happy. And now, you throw all of that back in my face. I’m sorry, MacG, but this behaviour is truly disgusting,” she said.

MacG has previously received backlash for saying nasty things about female celebs including Mihlali Ndamase, Minnie Dlamini and Cyan Boujee, among others.

Daily Sun tried to contact MacG for comment, but his phone rang unanswered.
