Former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates striker, Syabonga Nomvethe, is currently a happy father after his son decided to follow in his footsteps.
According to Briefly South African News, the son of the Amazulu Fc assistant coach, Lifa Nomvethe, is currently playing for the development team of Usuthu.
Lifa Nomvethe has been playing in the Dstv Diski Challenge at Amazulu Fc for quite some time now.
When the Bafana Bafana legend was speaking with The Citizens, he stated that he is always encouraging his son to do better in terms of being a soccer player.
Lifa Nomvethe is the one who decided to follow in the footsteps of his father. Even though he has passion for football, however, his father, Syabonga Nomvethe also encourages him to balance soccer with education.
According to Syabonga Nomvethe, his son is currently doing his second year in University. He is actually doing IT.
He also stated that he tells Lifa everyday that football will always be there, however, in school, it is not the same.
