Former Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs star, once touted to take local football by storm, has found a new home in the ABC Motsepe League in Gauteng.
Siphelele Mthembu has been without a club since his ill-fated move to Pretoria Callies.

The bulky striker has been training with Tshwane University of Technology for the past few months to keep himself fit.
‘Shaka Zulu’, as he is affectionately known in football circles, has now found a permanent home with TUT in the ABC Motsepe League.
He marked his debut with TUT in style when he scored a brace to help the team beat Jomo Cosmos 2-0 in Tshwane on Tuesday.
According to an official at TUT, Mthembu has signed a short-term contract with the club whilst waiting for an opportunity in the PSL in January.
“He is helping us whilst still waiting for offers in the PSL. His presence has been influential in the team.
“The youngsters are learning a lot from him, and we are benefiting a lot from his experience,” said the club official.

Meanwhile, former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Jabulani Shongwe has penned a deal with Phezulu FC in the ABC Motsepe League in Mpumalanga.
He has been a free agent since parting ways with Callies at the end of last season.
