Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Mduduzi Shabalala started the season on a high note but things have quickly went South for the highly rated midfielder.

The 22-year-old has been the backbone of Amakhosi has he has already scored three goals in 15 appearances for the Glamour Boys in the Betway Premiership and has registered two assists.

His performance has been questionable recently, noticeably when Kaizer Chiefs took on the struggling Stellenbosch in the Nedbank Cup. Mduduzi Shabalala missed three clear chances which could have helped Amakhosi progress to the next stage of the competition.

Kaizer Chiefs were unfortunately knocked out of the Nedbank Cup. Despite their win against the Egyptian side Al Masry, Mduduzi Shabalala’s performance was once again the main topic.

MDUDUZI SHABALALA SHOULD MAKE WAY FOR OTHER YOUNGSTERS?

There are a number of Kaizer Chiefs youngsters who could do wonders if given a chance by the club technical team.

Luke Baartman, Asanele Velebayi and Thulani Mabaso are some of the players who could do wonders if they get Mduduzi Shabalalaʼs role.
