Former Orlando Pirates defender Ntsikelelo Nyauza is set to join Richards Bay as they bolster their defensive options.

Nyauza parted ways with Pirates last month after his contract was not renewed, where he spent time as captain and vice-captain with eight years of service since being snapped up by Roses United in the second tier.

The 32-year-old captained the Buccaneers along with club legend Happy Jele last season leading them to the CAF Confederation Cup final where they lost on penalties.

iDiskiTimes has learned that Nyauza will join the newly promoted side Richards Bay who are currently at the summit of the DStv Premiership and unbeaten with two wins and one draw, while conceding no goals in the process.

Nyauza will become their 17th signing after luring former Mamelodi Sundowns right-back Harold Majadibodu to the club earlier this week too.
