Cape Town Spurs 3-2 Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila
Orlando Pirates loanee Boitumelo Radiopane scored the winner for Cape Town Spurs as they edged Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila in a five-goal thriller on Wednesday afternoon at Athlone Stadium.
Therlo Moosa gave Spurs the lead within the first minute of the game and Ashley Cupido doubled their lead just before the half-hour mark from the penalty spot.
However, TTM pulled a goal back just a minute later and eventually found the equaliser shortly before the interval.
Radiopane snatched the winner for Shaun Bartlett’s charges with 15 minutes to go.
Spurs consolidated their third spot on the table, three points behind table-toppers Polokwane City and Vhadau Vha Damani remained second-from-bottom, two points from safety.
Polokwane City 2-1 All Stars
Polokwane City opened a two-point lead at the top of the table after edging All Stars 2-1 on Wednesday afternoon at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Lebohang Nkaki broke the deadlock for Polokwane shortly before the half-hour mark and All Stars pegged them back on the stroke of half-time.
However, Mokibelo Ramabu snatched the winner for Rise and Shine in stoppage time.
All Stars, meanwhile, remained in seventh place on the log.
University of Pretoria 0-1 Magesi
University of Pretoria could not win their third game in a row after a narrow 1-0 loss to Magesi on Wednesday afternoon at ABSA Tuks Stadium.
Sikhosonke Langa came close to breaking the deadlock for AmaTuks just before the break but had a shot that came off the base of the post.
Tebogo Mokalapa eventually broke the deadlock for Magesi early in the second stanza and AmaTuks piled the pressure on their visitors in the closing stages but could not find the equaliser.
Magesi moved up to ninth spot on the table while AmaTuks remained in sixth position.
JDR Stars 0-0 Black Leopards
JDR Stars lost some ground with the promotion chasing pack after they were held to a goalless draw by Black Leopards on Wednesday afternoon at Giant Stadium.
The Hammerboyz fell five points behind third-placed Cape Town Spurs in fourth spot on the log while Leopards remained at the bottom of the table, five points from safety.
Venda Football Academy 3-0 NB La Masia
Venda Football Academy ended their two-game losing run after thrashing NB La Masia 3-0 courtesy of a brace by Rhulani Manzini on Wednesday afternoon at Thohoyandou Stadium.
Manzini put Venda ahead ten minutes before the break and Rotonswa Mutsivhuli gave them a two-goal cushion just before the half-time break.
Manzini put the game to bed for VFA and completed his brace early in the second stanza.
Venda moved up to 13th on the table while NB La Masia were left unchanged in 11th spot.

Uthongathi 2-0 Baroka
Uthongathi ended their four-game losing run after beating Baroka 2-0 on Tuesday afternoon at Princess Magogo Stadium.
Tshepo Liphoko gave Uthongathi the lead within two minutes from the first whistle and Mthokozisi Balakasi doubled their lead 17 minutes later.
The Cane Cutters climbed up to eighth on the standings while Bakgaga dropped down to tenth.
Platinum City Rovers 1-1 Casric Stars
Promotion-chasing Casric Stars dropped points for the second successive game after they rescued a 1-1 draw against Platinum City Rovers on Tuesday afternoon at Olen Park Stadium.
After a goalless first stanza, City Rovers eventually broke the deadlock in the last minute of regulation time but they were denied a win, as Thabang Rakwena snatched the equaliser for Casric deep in stoppage time.
Casric fell two points behind leaders Polokwane City in second place on the log while City Rovers were left lying in 12th place.
Hungry Lions 1-1 Pretoria Callies
Relegation-threatened Pretoria Callies extended their unbeaten run to six matches after holding Hungry Lions to a 1-1 draw on Tuesday afternoon at Windhoek Draught Park.
Following a scoreless first stanza, Sifiso Luthuli finally broke the ice for Callies on 67 minutes but Katlego Cwinyane levelled matters for Lions with nine minutes remaining.
Ditau dia Rora remained in fifth place on the log and the Romans remained third-from-bottom, just a point above the relegation zone.
