It is believed that Orlando Pirates have joined their arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs Football Club in a race to sign on-form Bafana Bafana and Lamontville Golden Arrows attacker.

According to The South African, Pule Mmodi has attracted interest from both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates as he will soon be a free-agent.

The contract of Pule Mmodi is set to expire at the end of this season. That simply means he is free to join any club of his own when the season ends.

Better yet, the 29-year old can sign a pre-contract with any club of his choice in January and join that club permanently for free on the 1st of July 2023.

Kaizer Chiefs were really interested in Mmodi during the past transfer window. However, Amakhosi failed to meet Arrows’ demands, forcing the player to stay for another season.

It has now been revealed that Orlando Pirates are looking to hijack Pule right in under the nose of Kaizer Chiefs.
