One person was injured following a three-vehicle collision on the M27 in the vicinity of Waterloo – KZN..

Several passing motorists contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) from 12:07 requesting assistance at the scene.

RUSA Members were immediately dispatched and on arrival were directed to a white Toyota Corolla with extensive front end damages.

The passenger sustained moderate injuries.

A white Hyundai H100 bakkie and a white Nissan bakkie were across the road.

According to witnesses, the white Nissan bakkie was turning from the M27 onto Lotus Road in Temple Valley when the white Toyota Corolla which was in the same direction overtook on the driver’s side.

The bakkie then collided into the stationary Hyundai H100 while the Toyota Corolla veered across the road and crashed into the metal barrier.

The injured male was treated on scene for his injuries before being transported to hospital by ambulance.
