Amazulu have officially announced their new head coach. Fomain Folz is back in the PSL as new AmaZulu coach and will be assisted by Ayanda Dlamini.
According to Daily Sun, the club confirmed on Sunday morning that the 31-year-old Folz has agreed to return to take over the post that was held by Brandon Truter who was axed this week after a chain of shocking results.
In a statement, the club said “Folz is a skilled tactician with an advanced soccer analytical mind”.
Folz was fired by Marumo Gallants for poor results which saw the Limpopo club struggle to make ends meet.
And, since Folz left, Gallants improved two-folds under Dan Malesela who returned to Bahlabani Bantwa from Royal AM.
“I repeat my personal promise to our fans that I will do everything in my power to bring back the glory days at AmaZulu,” said club president Sandile Zungu.
“We are championship material, there is no doubt about that. We can and will challenge for trophies both domestically and continentally.
“As the oldest club in the DStv Premiership, Usuthu is a heritage of South African football and therefore we must self-correct expeditiously whenever we hit snags.”
