Fan favourite Nkosingiphile Ngcobo has echoed Arthur Zwane’s remarks about Kaizer Chiefs and has sent a message to the club’s fans.
The Soweto giants have extended their barren run to seven seasons as they recently concluded the 2021/22 season without winning any silverware.
Ngcobo, just like Zwane, believes Chiefs need to play attacking football that is pleasing to the eye of the fans in order to return to the glory days.
“They have been so supportive. After the game, they’re still there, singing, there’s a lot of positive energy coming from our supporters and we appreciate that,” Ngcobo said via the club’s official website.
“We just need to make sure as a team we show them that appreciation by winning games and playing good football, which we know they enjoy. What I can say is we are going to make sure we do our best.
“It’s just a matter of us as players trying to get everything right, trying our best to win games. But we need to be strong and forget what’s in the past and focus on what’s coming.”
