Mzansi mourns after the passing of former Chiefs player

Jomo Cosmos and the whole South Africa is currently mourning after the sudden passing of Sivuyile Zozi.

Former Bizana Pondo Chiefs defender has sadly passed away, the official statement was released by his club Jomo Cosmos on Wednesday.

When Jomo Cosmos shared a statement about the passing of the 25-year pld defender, they did not reveal what exactly was the cause of death.

The club stated that Sivuyile Zozi passed away on the 11th of May 2022 in the morning.

Ezenkosi stated that the club is working along with the Zozi family in order to make sure things go according in the funeral.

Despite joining Jomo Cosmos at the beginning of this season from the Eastern cape side, Bizana Pondo Chiefs, Marcelo made 14 appearances for Ezenkosi this season.

He was however unable to help the side avoid the relegation.
