This irresponsible driver was arrested on the 10th of December 2025 by the No Nonsense RTI Park Ryne Team after dangerously clocking 172 km per hour in a 120 km/h zone.

He appeared in Scottburgh Magistrates.

Through this suspension of a driver’s license, we are communicating a clear message that a driver’s license is a legally granted privilege and not a constitutional right.

Therefore, we will ensure that we take it away in order to prevent you from killing innocent people on the road.

Once again, we wish to congratulate the RTI Park Ryne team for their high-speed arrest rate and successful conviction.

Equally, we thank the Scottburgh magistrates for professionalism and the whole Department of Justice and Constitutional Development for managing our cases effectively.

As stated in the past, the RTI Park Ryne team is using cutting-edge technology to arrest lawyers, engineers, auditors, VIP protectors, doctors, police, and many other professionals across all sectors of the economy. We are demonstrating that nobody is above the law.

Finally, we are warning motorists in KZN that they should not be misled by the judgement in the Western Cape High Court: Hymie Zilwa (Plaintiff) and Member of the Executive Council for the Department of Transport and Public Works (First Defendant) and Minister of Police (Second Defendant) delivered on the 9th January 2026.

It was held that speeding is not a Schedule 1 offence, and the arrest was deemed to be unlawful.

This judgement does not bind KwaZulu-Natal authorities.

Our highly efficient and dedicated RTI team is guided by section 40(1)(a) of the Criminal Procedure Act, 1977 (Act 51 of 1977), to continue to arrest and remove from our road networks reckless and irresponsible drivers, as they are a major risk to other innocent road users.
