Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena was coy to discuss the latest rumours around midfielder Andile Jali as well as Cassius Mailula, who is said to have attracted overseas interest.
Mailula, 21, is experiencing an incredible breakthrough campaign, having scored 12 goals and set up another four in all competitions this season so far.

His fine form hasn’t gone unnoticed, according to his agent Karabo Mathang, who told Kick Off that they had “a few enquiries from [a Ligue 1 club in] France”.
Mokwena, though remained tight-lipped when asked whether Sundowns have received any official approach from any interested party about their young star.
“No, we haven’t received nothing from anyone,” he said on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Jali’s contract is running out by the end of the campaign and even though Mokwena previously highlighted the importance of the 32 -year-old, he has seen his game-time limited.
Jali’s agent, Mike Makaab has put the shoe in Sundowns’ court, insisting the club are yet to communicate with him whether they’re planning with the midfielder beyond this season or not.
“If the answer is yes [Sundowns are interested] hopefully we can sit down for a week and come up with some sort of conclusion,” he said on Gagasi FM on Monday, revealing local and overseas clubs are interested in Jali.
“Because it’s uncertain for the player. He doesn’t know where his future lies and I think that’s understandable, any player of his calibre whose contract is coming to an end will feel uncertain about their future.
“The most important thing now is to bring this to an end which will do this the right way. Interest is from both local and abroad.”
When the situation was put to Mokwena, that there seems to be ‘he said-she said’ situation between the club and Jali’s side, the Downs coach opted to remain coy on the situation.
“I don’t want to get too much into that space,” he said.

“Because it’s quite polluted with – as you said ‘he said-she said’ type of stuff. I’d rather not comment on it because I’ve spoken extensively about it in the past and to avoid being misquoted, I’d rather avoid giving a comment on this situation.
“I think the club will give a directive and an announcement in due course and at the right time when the club deems it necessary.”
