Sredojević was appointed head coach of ES Sétif in November 2025, signing an 18-month contract to lead the team through the 2025/26 season and beyond.
However, in a statement released this week, the club confirmed that Micho, as the Serbian tactician is affectionately known, has been dismissed along with his technical staff.
“At the suggestion of the sporting director and at his request, the management of Wafak Setif announces the termination of the contract with Serbian coach Milutin Sredojević and his technical staff by compromise,” the club stated.
The club immediately announced the appointment of Algerian mentor Lotfi Amrouche and his assistant staff to take over the technical setup for the remainder of the season.
“The management also announces the appointment of coach Lotfi Amrouche and his assistant staff to lead the technical team until the end of the season.
“The club management wishes the new staff good luck and success in getting the team back on the winning track, and thanks coach Micho and his staff.”
