A few weeks ago it was reported that the City forward might join Masandawana but no official negotiations yet. Mayo remains focused as he wants to achieve what they achieved as a team last season which is to finish second and qualify for CAF Champions League.
“I’m handling everything well because I’m focusing on one thing at this point in time bettering the position that we at as compared to last season because we were second in the previous league campaign, I want to do that again,” Mayo tells iDiski Times.
“It won’t be easy it’s a journey but we take it game by game. All the talks and rumours that have been going on it’s not something that I could focus on.

“My part is to focus on football and leave off-the-field things that I can’t control. I can only control what I can control which is playing my best in each and every game.”
