Real Madrid have knocked the Egyptian giants Al Ahly out of the FIFA Club World Cup to qualify for Saturday’s final.
Al Ahly had a great chance in the 19th minute when Mohamed Sherif was found in space on the left following a counter but his shot sailed over the bar.

Rodrygo hit the post from a tight angle after creating the chance following a nice dribbling inside the box in the 30th minute.
Just a minute later, Hussein El Shahat forced Real goalkeeper Andriy Lunin into a superb save.
Los Blancos eventually found the opener in the 42nd minute when Vinicius Jr. chipped the ball over El Shenawy.
Federico Valverde made it 2-0 for Real just after break, pouncing onto the rebound after Rodrygo’s initial shot was saved by El Shenawy.
El Shahat could’ve pulled one back on the other side but his shot from the edge of the box moved passed the post.
South African winger, Percy Tau, who started the game on the bench, was brought on in the 61st minute.
El Shahat won his side a penalty in the 63 minute after being brought down inside the area by Camavinga – Ali Ma’aloul stepped up and halved Al Ahly’s deficit.
Afsha had a huge chance to equalise for Al Ahly but his shot from the edge of the box flew over the bar.

Real Madrid received a penalty themselves in the 86th for a foul on Vinicius, but El Shenawy saved Luka Modric’s spot-kick to keep Al Ahly in the game.
Rodrygo added Real’s third in the second minute of injury time, chipping the ball over El Shenawy with another fine finish following a superb back hell-assist by Ceballos.

Sergio Arribas even made it 4-1 with a well-placed shot from inside the box just second after coming on as late substitute.
In the end, Real did enough to deny their first final appearance and will now face Al Hilal in Saturday’s final, while the Egyptian giants will take on Flamengo in the match for bronze.
