Sibusiso Mabiliso has penned a parting message to Kaizer Chiefs after having his contract terminated by mutual agreement.
Mabiliso’s ill-fated spell with Kaizer Chiefs was brought to an end on Friday after the club announced that it had parted ways with the left-back after the parties agreed to go seperate ways.
The 23-year-old joined Chiefs at the start of last season on the back of a stellar campaign with AmaZulu but was limited to just six appearances, five of which were from the substitute’s bench.
Nonetheless, it appears as though he and the club have split on good terms with Mabiliso taking to social media on the weekend to pen a heartfelt farewell to the Amakhosi.
“I just want to thank Kaizer Chiefs for giving me the opportunity to be part of this amazing club. I’m so grateful for all the experiences and teachings,” He said.
“To my manager [agent] Basia Michaels thank you for always listening to me, supporting me, and encouraging me.
You are a true manager, I love and appreciate you. You’re the best!
“To my teammates and all wonderful supporters that showed me a lot of love, I wanna say I love y’all. You made me feel so welcome and embraced me with open arms.
“I wish you all the best in the future going forward. Much love and gratitude.
I’m looking forward to what’s next in my career and all new challenges I’ll face.”
