Orlando Pirates’ Zakhele Lepasa has provided an update amid latest injury fears after he appeared to have picked up a knock in the match for Bafana Bafana.

Lepasa had an impressive match after being selected in coach Hugo Broos’ starting line-up as Bafana beat Sierra Leone 4-0 in their international friendly at FNB Stadium on Saturday.

The 25-year-old led the attack brilliantly and he influenced how the team went forward and attacked the opponents as Bafana played one of their best matches in a long time.

The in-form attacker grabbed two assists but there were fears towards the end after the Bucs man appeared to have twisted his ankle and was limping.

After the match, Lepasa took to social media to confirm that there is nothing to worry about as he is not injured.

“Great performance today from the whole team! Oh, I’m not injured, wasn’t anything bad after all. Thank God!” Lepasa tweeted.
