Maskandi well-known artist Khuzani “Indlamlenze” Mpungose has announced his traditional wedding date.
However, the 35-year-old singer from Nkandla, KZN, wouldn’t reveal the makoti’s name.
He did reveal they have been together for 10 years.
The traditional wedding ceremony will be held at his home in Mandaba Village in Nkandla on 15 December.

“For now, I won’t give details about the lady I’m going to marry on 15 December as my first wife because I respect her and her family. I have been in love with her for about 10 years now,” he said.
He told Daily Sun he plans to marry more than one wife, but can’t confirm the number.
“I will marry more than one wife, but will not mention how many. When a man is building homes, he sees the need to marry more wives.”
Khuzani said he is hurt he will get married without his gogo, Cagwe Mpungose, who encouraged him to tie the knot.
Gogo Cagwe passed away in December 2024.
“Although gogo is not with us physically, she will witness my wedding where she is. She is not dead, but her soul is separated from her mortal being. She is with us spiritually and is happy because her wish will finally be fulfilled,” he said.
When Khuzani’s dancer Thibela “Intibane” Mpungose (32) got married in 2024, many people asked why Khuzani didn’t get married first as he is older.
Khuzani said he could not get married before Thibela as he is the son of an inkosi of the Mpungose tribal authority in Nkandla.
“Actually, I pushed Thibela to get married first because he is the son of an inkosi. I can’t get married before him,” he said.
