Limpopo artist Melita Mogale, popularly known as Kharishma, is reportedly in critical condition after being involved in a car accident in the early hours of Friday morning, 31 October.
Reports suggest the 21-year-old Wa Inama hitmaker was travelling with another passenger who also sustained injuries.

The driver reportedly died from his injuries.
The crash occurred along Grobler and Magazyn Street in Polokwane, Limpopo. It’s not known where the musician was heading.
Limpopo Artist Movement (LAM) confirmed these reports, saying that the singer was fighting for her life in hospital.
LAM’s provincial chairman Mpho Mashabela confirmed the accident, saying that they had visited Kharishma in hospital.
“LAM will continue to support the families. We are deeply saddened by the passing of the driver.”
“May his soul rest in peace. We also urge the public to give the families space as they process this tragedy.
“I went to the hospital and met Kharishma’s brother. We wish her and the other person involved a speedy recovery. This is truly a sad moment for our province,” said Mashabela.

Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety is yet to release an official statement on the accident.
Kharishma survived another car crash in August 2024.
