Many were visibly overcome with grief as they mourned the untimely loss of a young life.
The atmosphere was heavy with sorrow as heartfelt tributes were shared.
People remembered Kelebohile as a vibrant and promising individual whose passing has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Kelebohile’s mysterious death has left her loved ones in shock and disbelief.
Her uncle Miden Radebe told the mourners that his niece told him something deeply unsettling – that they would never see her again.
At the time, her words may have seemed confusing or even dramatic. But in the wake of her sudden passing, they have taken on a chilling significance.
“I was completely taken aback by my niece’s unusual words. She told me she was leaving for good, that she was going home.”
“I didn’t understand what she meant, so I asked her about her daughter and whether she would come visit us again. I’m heartbroken. Kelebohile was still so young, and we were expecting so much from her,” he said.
The family has allegedly discovered a cup containing a black substance believed to be a poison known as mafenetha.
The substance was found under suspicious circumstances, raising serious concerns about its origin and intended use.
Family spokesman Moeketsi Mofokeng said the family is left with trauma by the tragic loss. They are struggling to come to terms with their grief and the many unanswered questions surrounding the incident.
“There’s no amount of words that could explain the loss of our daughter. We are left with trauma and many questions.”

“We don’t know how we are going to tell her daughter. Kelebohile was a good human being,” he said.
Kelebohile has left behind her 11-month-old daughter, Nkanyezi, who innocently laughed during her mother’s funeral service. This brought a heartbreaking contrast to the grief surrounding her.
