Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly set to free up two of their foreign payer slots as veteran striker Leonardo Castro is set to be released.
Daniel Cardoso is one of several players expected to leave Naturena in coming weeks, according to iDiskiTimes.
He hasn’t always been a hit with fans but Cardoso remains among the more valuable players in the Kaizer Chiefs squad.
Zwane has consistently favoured other options at the back, preferring to turn to youth after the pairing of Mathoho and Cardoso flopped fo Stuart Baxter.
Cardoso is also a dual-qualified player but is registered as a local player.
However, another foreign player on Kaizer Chiefs books looks set to depart.
“KickOff.com has now been told that Tanzanian giants Young Africans have revived their interest yet again,” the outlet reported.
“Last year the East African heavyweights’ top brass led by Engineer Hersi Ally Said, one of the directors of the club, travelled to Johannesburg to iron out the transfer.
“Kambole is said to have already made contact with Yanga and will be arriving in Dar es Salaam to sign his contract,” the report added.
