Kaizer Chiefs Football Club legends were spotted in the opening of the Real Espanyol de Barcelona academy in Johannesburg, along with a bunch of children.
News that we woke up with this morning was that the Spanish La liga side, Real Espanyol de Barcelona have officially opened their academy, which based in Johannesburg.
The La liga side revealed that they opened the academy in South Africa with an aim to groom the young players here in the country.
Not only will they be grooming the players, however, the coaches will also get a chance to develop themselves in the academy.
It is believed that more tha 5 000 children did manage to show up in the trials, along with the former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala.
Brian Baloyi was also available, as they came to show support to the upcoming youngsters.
Even players who are from Zimbabwe, Swaziland and other neighboring countries were there for the trials.
