Kaizer Chiefs’ iconic goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune is a graduate. The 35-year-old from Ventersdorp shared the exciting news via social media on Monday.
According to a statement from the PSL, the event was the Player Transition Programme by the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
“Congratulations to the 2022 PSL Player Transition Programme graduates who were honoured earlier today at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) in Johannesburg,” the league said.
“The course was introduced earlier this year by PSL and MultiChoice, and was specifically designed by GIBS to equip, and empower PSL players with the necessary knowledge and skills to find careers off the field after they retire,” the note added.
Khune has since shared snaps from the momentous occasion.
Among the graduates pictured were several DStv Premiership footballers such as teammate Zitha Kwinika and the Orlando Pirates duo of Innocent Maela as well as Vincent Pule.
