TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi has confirmed no official bids have been made for their highly-rated captain Given Msimango amid reported interest from Kaizer Chiefs.

Msimango, 25, is currently the youngest captain in the DStv Premiership and scored the crucial goal in the season finale that helped the Rockets retain their top-flight status.

The former South Africa youth international has emerged as one of the most reliable defenders in the top-flight in his debut campaign which has attracted interest from a number of suitors, with Chiefs said to be among the admirers as they look to rebuild their defence ahead of the 2022/23 season.

“I’ve also heard that too, to be honest, but there’s been nothing formal coming from anything for Msimango’s services.

And it’s not only him, people are said to be interested in my other player’s services,” Sukazi told iDiski Times in Edition 55 of iDiski Times.

It remains to be seen if Amakhosi do make an official move for the player with Arthur Zwane notably stating in recent weeks that a left-centre back and a left-back are among their priority targets.
