Five suspects have been shot dead in a police shootout in Chatsworth in Durban.
The suspects were wanted for murders and house robberies in and around Durban.

Police are currently on the scene, which is still active.
Two of the suspects were reportedly siblings.
KZN police spokesperson Robert Nethiunda said the suspects are aged between 17 and in their early 20s.

“They’re also involved in extortion and it’s of concern,” he said.
