Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates winger Kudakwashe Mahachi continues to search for a new club after being rejected by Maritzburg United.
According to the iDiski Times, Mahachi trained with Maritzburg United as he wanted to get his career back on track.

But the Team of Choice have decided not to sign the Zimbabwe international, as he didn’t impress coach Fadlu Davids enough.
Mahachi was not part of the list of players signed by the club when they unveiled them on Thursday, as they confirmed the signing of Kwame Peprah, two free agents – Bradley Cross and Ali Meza.
Mahachi was released by SuperSport United at the end of last season when his contract was not renewed.
SuperSport were initially keen to see his contract extended, but after the scandal of Mahachi that broke out last season, the club decided not to.
Mahachi was acquitted in a Zimbabwean court of attempting to murder his four-year-old son, posting a statement on his official Instagram account, lashing out at his accusers.

The horrifying images were all over social media of Mahachi’s son allegedly having an amputated leg, leaving him with sores on his body.
Mahachi was alleged to have assaulted his son with an iron bar and scalded his body with boiling water.
According to the reports, Mahachi said in the court that the toddler had been diagnosed with necrotising fasciitis (also known as flesh-eating disease).
After he was acquitted, Mahachi, in that long statement on his social media account, said: “I can only pray someone out there is willing to take a chance on me so I can go back to playing the sport I love.” But while Maritzburg was keen, it has not been the case for him.
The 30-year-old initially arrived in the country to join Mamelodi Sundowns in the 2014/15 season after a brilliant showing in the CHAN tournament that was hosted in the country.
Sundowns had beat off interest from French giants AS Monaco, who were interested in the left winger. But Mahachi featured in just 14 matches in all competitions for the club, spending one season during which he scored just one goal at Chloorkop.
Then Sundowns loaned him to Golden Arrows in the following term, forfeiting the foreign spot like they have been doing in the recent times, but then Arrows signed him permanently at the end of that term.
In three seasons with Arrows, with one on loan, Mahachi turned heads at the Durban-based side, and Orlando Pirates came calling to sign him ahead of the 2018/19 season.

But he spent just one season with the Soweto giants, before he left to join SuperSport in the 2019/20 campaign alongside Thamsanqa Gabuza to spend three seasons.
Kudakwashe Mahachi, in his time in the PSL, has only two trophies in the PSL – Nedbank Cup and the MTN8.
