Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper has joined the Premier Soccer League struggling side, as he is looking to revive his career in the football industry.

According to Lorenz Kohler, Joseph Mabokgwane is now a Baroka Football Club player after reaching an agreement with the Limpopo side.

The former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper has been training with Bakgaga ko Mphahlele side for quite some time now, hoping to impress the management and seal a deal.

The 34-year old has been a free-agent since parting ways with the Siwelele side, Bloemfontein Celtic. The club was actually sold to the South African well-known businesswoman Shawn Mkhize.

It was renamed to Royal AM Football Club. Mabokgwane was one of the players who were shown an exit door as MaMkhize was clearing a space for new players.

It is not clear if Mabokgwane will stay beyond this season if Baroka gets relegated, or he will still be in the plans of Baroka even if they play in the Glad Africa Championship next season.
