Former Orlando Pirates coach Fadlu Davids is believed to be closing in on a new adventure that could see him link up with a former head coach in Europe.

Speculation has been rife about Davids’ future in recent times.

The coach has been linked with AmaZulu as well as Swallow, although he has given an update on his future, revealing that he was excited for the new chapter in his career.

His agent also provided clarity on the coach’s future.

Now, after much digging by the Siya crew, sources in the know have informed the crew that Davids appears to be heading to Europe for his next move.

According to sources, Davids will be teaming up with former Bucs head coach Josef Zinnbauer in Russia, where he will serve as an assistant coach to the German mentor as he did during their time at Pirates.

The Siya crew reached out to both Davids as well as his agent Rasthoem Simons of SimSports, although they were not available at the time of publishing.

Davids and Zinnbauer will have their work cut out for them as Moskow currently sit in 12th place in the Russian Premier League after 10 matches played.

The coach is expected to make an announcement on his move on Monday.
