South Africa’s Ambassador to France Nathi Mthethwa has died in Paris, France.
Mthethwa’s body was found at the Hyatt Hotel where according to reports, he died from a fall from the 22nd floor.

Mthethwa has served in various capacities in government, including as police minister between May 2009 and May 2014.
Mthethwa was recently in the news when he was named by Lt-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanzi as having forced former Inspector General of Intelligence Faith Radebe to withdraw a criminal case against the former head of Crime Intelligence, Richard Mdluli.
