News that have reached the media reaching is that offers have been flooding in for a former Kaizer Chiefs coach abroad.
However, it is believed that Stuart Baxter turned down a national team offer from Central America shortly after he was shown the exit door at Naturena.
The country interested in acquiring the services of the Englishman was not revealed.
The Siya crew understands that Baxter is holding his breath for a coaching gig in the DStv Premiership amid reports that he is on AmaZulu’s wanted list.
Baxter, who rejected offers abroad, enjoyed a successful first stint with the Soweto giants from 2012 to 2015 as he clinched several trophies at the helm, including two league titles, the Nedbank Cup and MTN8 trophy.
But his second spell at the club didn’t go according to plan, as Baxter was fired 10 months into his two-year contract after a run of poor results and his utterances in the media.
The Briton first arrived on South African shores back in 2004 and has coached Bafana Bafana twice and also SuperSport United.
It remains to be seen who Baxter will join as coach in the new season.
